FAQ — Marseille Private Concierge
What is the difference between your concierge service and a hotel concierge?
A hotel concierge looks after guests of their own establishment. Our service is independent, multi-venue and multi-location: we orchestrate your stay whether it begins in a hotel, a private residence, a yacht or a private jet. Our network spans Marseille, Aix, the Côte d’Azur, and on to Monaco and Geneva. We also work hand-in-glove with the concierges of partner five-star hotels.
Do you work with every hotel in Marseille?
We maintain privileged relationships with the InterContinental Marseille Hôtel Dieu, the Sofitel Vieux-Port, the Grand Hôtel Beauvau, La Réserve, Le Petit Nice, and most four- and five-star properties across the city and the region. We can engage any other hotel on request.
How does billing work?
A detailed quote is sent within 24 hours, clearly separating the RM Luxury concierge fee from partner services passed through at net cost. Payment by bank transfer, credit card or Apple Pay. A formal invoice is issued within 48 hours of completion, with VAT recoverable for corporate clients.
Do you accept urgent same-day requests?
Yes. Our 24/7 availability extends to last-minute requests. Depending on the nature of the brief, we can dispatch a driver within 30 minutes and confirm a restaurant booking or helicopter transfer within the hour. Very short-notice requests carry a transparent urgency surcharge.
Do your drivers speak English and Italian?
All RM Luxury drivers speak fluent professional English. A number of the team also speak Italian, Spanish or Arabic. For assignments requiring complete fluency or a professional interpreter, we engage one of our qualified interpreter partners (English, Italian, Spanish, German, Arabic, Russian and Mandarin).
Are you available at weekends and on public holidays?
Yes, with no weekend surcharge. Public holidays and the festive period (24 December to 2 January, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday and Monday, 14 July, 15 August) carry a modest coordination supplement, always communicated in advance within the quote.
What is your geographic reach?
Marseille and the wider Bouches-du-Rhône département form the heart of our activity. We extend naturally to Aix-en-Provence, the Var, the Côte d’Azur as far as Monaco, the Vaucluse, the Gard and the Provençal hinterland. For requests further afield (Lyon, Geneva, Milan, Barcelona), we coordinate with our local partners.
What happens if the requested service is unavailable?
We always present an equivalent alternative. If you request a table at a fully booked restaurant, we work our network to open a slot; failing that, we propose a comparable establishment and guide your choice. No concierge fee is charged if no solution can be found.
